Grey and more grey today but mild.
You will be pleased to hear that there have been developments with the hedgehog and a rescue party set forth. We commandeered the help of Margaret = a slight and slender woman - who came back with a massive crowbar and proceeded to prise the cattle grid up ! Himself and Margaret kept the grid open while I nipped under to collect the hedgehog!  He is still alive, now in a carboard box with leaves and snacks - some of which have been enjoyed- and is taking it easy in the polytunnel.
