Second Day Syndrome here.  The first day after an operation is always grim. The second day is always worse.  Bruises appearing from under the bandages like hellebores.  It pretty much a lack of fun.

Getting up this morning, an air-pod fell out of my ear. No idea where it went - just heard it rolling off.  Pillow off the bed, kneel down and <Boom> cramp in both thighs.  And not a mini cramp - you could see knots in both thighs.

A miserable day.  Even the chip butty didn't help.

On the plus side, nobody called.  Our major implementation went through without a hitch. Grateful for small mercies.
