Hallowe'en.

My dad used to say to me that you should never be afraid of the dead, it is only the living that can hurt you. He was right in more ways than one!

Standing here alone on a railway footbridge in the dark at 11pm on Hallowe'en, I know exactly what he meant. Every time I heard a noise I asked myself what was I thinking by being here.
