Lounge, SFO.  The wait.  

Our flight (on Alaska) was canceled, no reason given.  The alerts to our phones arriving as we're walking to the departure gate, we pause to look at the departures panel, yep, canceled, and the flight before us.  Enh.  Their automated system decided to rebook us on a completely ridiculous itinerary for following day, called and nothing workable available.  (Curious why all their evening flights up got canceled so suddenly.)  So we rebooked everything on United, got their last 2 remaining seats on the 9:30 p.m. flight out, then canceled our booking on Alaska.  A longer than anticipated travel day but at least we got to PDX on the day planned and no need to come back to the airport another day or rearrange all the stuff scheduled.
