Friday with Andrea

Thank goodness for a dry day, but baltic.  Cloudy first thing, cleared into a sunny day, then clouded over again.  Breezy to flat calm. 

Last working day of the week.  I was teamed up with Andrea today.  We finished off the work in Cunningsburgh, then back to Lerwick.  Main job was clearing paths on the notorious Ladies Drive estate, a bulky removal and a couple of wheelie bin deliveries.  Walkies with Sammy after work.  A quiet evening at home, last walkies, and feet up.  

Once upon a job, long, long ago, I was a school librarian and Andea was a pupil, I've known her a long time now.  We've been good friends since I moved to Scalloway 15 years ago.  Today was my first day teamed up with Andrea and we've had a great day of fun, chats and plenty of hard work.  We spent the morning pressure washing the pavements we missed yesterday, and getting the last of the moss removed around the sheltered housing.  Andrea hard at work, Dandigarth, Cunningsburgh.
