Color to the Dark

Temperature about +3. Grey, rainy, even the first sleet. Some easterly wind.

Busy day.
First picking up laundry from the laundromat. We hadn't time enough before the move to wash them so chose this option. Then I made a pie of last year's gooseberries that we either haven't had time to use. Then cleaning and getting rest of the carpets on the floors. A couple of the furnitures still should be got to better place, then it all's there.

But now the weekend can come.
In the picture there is Jerusalem cherry or Madeira winter cherry (Solanum pseudocapsicum) that I bought a couple of weeks ago to bring color to the darking days. It's not edible, but poisonous. I tidied it a little and noticed its quite hard although small branhes. You may see there's small flower at the top, like a potatoe flower.
Now I read it's a kind of a bush and can grow even about one  meter high :o  I didn't plan to save it, thought it's a short-lived plant. But at least it's nice looking now for this season.

Now, in a little while we have tea time with a delicious gooseberry pie :)
I also wish you a relaxing weekend :)
