I’m breaking with my usual habit of midnight blipping and writing this at teatime as we warm up with a cuppa after watching grandson Alan play for his school against Watson’s this afternoon. We’ve been up since 6am so that we could be sure of getting to Edinburgh in time for the match, so I’m already thinking longingly of dinner, having had a banana for lunch and a random digestive biscuit a while back.
