A walk out this morning, across the Meadows for a coffee (and pastry) in the cafe. It’s still so mild, tee shirt and jacket weather.

On the way back we stopped for an ice cream. The wee shop has had the road being dug up right outside them for months, but the works have moved further up the road now, leaving their two wee tables in the sunshine and NO construction noise!

I’ve checked in for the flights. At least, I think I have… but I’ve just got JR’s ticket… mine was ‘unable to be processed at the moment’ or words to that effect. NOT very comforting… I think we’ll have to get to the airport even earlier than the recommended three hours. Shades of when we went to SA and JR was told at the checkin desk she didn’t have a seat from London!!!

I’ve packed my bag - Archie was poking around in it in middle of the night. JR is also packed. Now, just Archie’s holiday bag to pack tomorrow.

PS Just checked. It says ‘Mobile boarding pass is not available at this time’… But JR has hers…


Also, we’ve just been upgraded on the ship!
