On the Fence

Driving over the Cotswold hills I caught sight of two red kites hunting in this field. Pulling over onto the verge as it always happens the action stopped but then one kite flew over and sat on the fence post.

I liked the line up of posts in this but the same version is cropped in the Extra. giving it a very different perspective.

The owls weren't out to play tonight so I was thankful I took my Kindle with me. Still 1500 shots from last night still to go through. I think, no I know that I got a tad over enthusiastic as it was the first time I had seen them and put the R3 into overdrive, so, I can't say, 'What was I thinking?' as you know what I was thinking now. Big mistake.
