I drove to Grasmere for a wander around the usual haunts. There were several 1 hour parking spaces to choose from.

My last photo stop was at the ex garden centre to see if I could get a colourful tree photo. I walked along the roadside first and was annoyed at the backs of boards spoiling the shot.

Didn’t bother with photos but when I went to see what had ruined the view I found an outdoor photo exhibition. ‘Forty Farms’ which I missed when it was in Windermere. I didn’t have enough time to look at all the photos/information as closely as I would like. I’ll return.

Traffic going back into Ambleside was worse than I’ve experienced for many years. . . stop/start for a long way.
