Christ Church

In spite of having lived in the Penrith area for over 50 years, today was the first time I had been in this church. Only a quick phone shot was possible as we were here for a funeral.

An ex-colleague we had both worked with had lived a good long life and died. Not only did we know him, his son had taught #2 Daughter to play the trombone. They were keen members of Penrith Town Band and the band played in the church.

A good quote when asked what was the secret of a long marriage: "Know when to shut up and don't argue!"
