Fright Night

For some reason, I was awake at an ungodly hour, but I made the most of the peaceful house and enjoyed a lovely coffee while catching up on my YouTube playlist. The day was cold, grey, and rather misty, but the rain stayed away. It was another busy morning at the coalface, but after lunch, everything calmed down and ended promptly in a civilised manner.

Halloween is here; the pumpkins are lit, and trick-or-treaters wander the streets like tiny hypoglycaemic spectres. Milo is off to the pubs in Canterbury for the festivities, and Raff gave Gubs a lift to a party in Whitstable. I expect I will have a Dad’s Taxi run later. Dash has a bunch of friends over for a Halloween sleepover… which will involve plenty of gaming, movies, pizza, and, most likely, fighting in the garden with huge sticks and lightsabers.
