Digiart class

Alastair, who takes the photography class in the u3a (University of the 3rd Age,) which I attend, has decided to broaden our horizons and now runs three different classes 
1) where we take photos and choose one or two to talk about in class, focussing on camera techniques, lighting, exposure and composition
2) combined meeting where photographers have the opportunity to work on post processing of their images 
3) The digital artists can use manipulation as the basis of their Digital work.

Almost everyone (12 people) is attending all three classes at present.  I don't know how long I'll last at the 2nd and 3rd class as I haven't really mastered the first three techniques.  Also, going by today's class it will take up a lot of my time to work on processing and changing images etc , but I'll give it a try.  I'm the only one in the class who has a notebook to write things down.
