Mahonia

The flowers on the Japonica have started to open, which I think is a bit early so it must be responding to the continued mild weather. They could be a good contrast to the Acer foliage, assuming it lasts a while longer.
Good gardening weather continues, as does the need to clear the fallen leaves which is easier as they are dry . Following a quick topping of the lawn a season finale for the MX5 as I'm taking it off the road for a few months and even in the late afternoon it was still pleasant with the roof down.
