CHOICES

Hospital appointment today about my ankle (broken in June, still not mended in Sept now decision to operate!?!?)
I was really anxious and because The Rev was away, my good friend H came with me for support. This time I saw a new consultant who was very thorough…looked at my foot, pressed for the pain and watched how I stood and walked. He went into great detail about the x-ray and the scan and explained the findings. It appears that the break is mending so he wouldn’t operate hooray hooray…phew. I cried with the relief as this is my last hurdle. So grateful to have H with me and to have seen a new consultant as the previous one wanted to operate in Sept!!!
Then went to new house with H is show her around. Her dog Rupert had a great zooming session around the house and garden…then we had a walk to our new local park!! Then she bought us lunch to have whilst he waited for the Shutter Man!!!
I thought he was just going to measure but there were choices of sizes, colours, styles, hinges and locks!!!!
I had 2 companies in to quote. One much better than the other, one a straight forward price and the other very expensive and then lots of “I can do you a deal” etc!!!

Great to see The Rev home today xx
