HALLOWEEN BLIP
Such a beautiful afternoon, and I took a walk around Spion Kop cemetery where most of the vegetation has been mown and stacked up near the entrance. It's hard now to imagine it full of skylarks, orchids and wildflowers, but it will be again in six months or so. Meanwhile the crows have taken over the perches.
I watched a skein of Brent Geese come in from over the North Sea (extra).
Tonight the Wild Girls get together at Kathryn's. She is an ace cake-maker so it should be a good night. The rest of us just provide biscuits when we're hosting so we're always happy when it's her turn.
