Lapwing

Many thanks for your kind good wishes re last night's talk to the local camera club.  I'm pleased to say that I didn't embarrass myself, and unless they were all lying, the talk seemed to go down very well.  Phew!

This morning I drove to Slimbridge, to meet my friend Bruce who had been visiting this part of the world.  We had a wander around in the early morning light, and then enjoyed a really good catch up over coffee and cake.  Bruce is a great raconteur and kept me very  amused with his stories and conversation.
