Lost a day!

No idea where my blip is for yesterday - it was of Susan and my dear friends enjoying hot smoked salmon salad in the evening. The salmon is cured in Eyemouth - one of the delicacies I will certainly miss on my doorstep.

Today was another scorching hot day. I really slogged to get the house to a state that was acceptable. We had discussed going through to see the parentals tomorrow fora day visit...and I changed my mind. I just could not bear to walk back into this house in a state of disorganisation after being away. I moved as many boxes as I could into the walk in cupboard and the rest into the hobby room. Job done!

We hopped into the car at 4pm and were in Gourock by 6.30pm. We had bought some Japanese Salmon from The Store in Dunbar on the way and enjoyed that very much with M&D. We made plans for tomorrow - a day trip with the BBQ to Cumbrae.

Dad loves a BBQ and the trip will fulfil the need for Susan to know where I am going to be living.
