Spotted woodpecker

The woodpecker has returned.  He had a good breakfast on the peanuts nudging the bluetit away at the same time.

Gardening again.  A lot to be done pruning everything back to knee height and taking the ivy off the house. This year has been a nightmare in the garden with all the rain we have had.

Supermarket in the afternoon. T came in really depressed about the Budget re farm inheritance.  When the time comes he shall probably have to sell up
-  after all the work that has been put into it ........ no future opportunity for his son.
