Wednesday: Delivery

I realise that my blips have gone from the exotic to the mundane but, in the spirit of capturing my day, today we took receipt of our furniture which has been in storage for 12 years.  

It was quite a treat to rediscover everything.  Luckily it wasn’t too overwhelming- the bulk of our stuff is on the way from Belize so the trauma will come a little later.

Late morning, Rocknerd’s LOH came round with cakes.  It was so nice to catch up.  

We do have one mystery as regards our delivery.  We have a desk which, although large, was delivered to the house after we moved in and which was removed when we put it into storage.  Yet for some reason, it was impossible to get it through the doorway today.  It’s currently in the front garden, covered on cardboard, pending a solution……..
