Day 65

Another day for Chloe and daddy to take Shani to school. We played doctors with her for a bit where Archie was the patient. She wrote him a prescription he needs to take each day. We left her playing with her friend!

Picked her up and she ignored me but ran straight to Archie for a hug.

Gave her the new coat which she loved because it has a belt so it’s pretty cool. She put it on straight away!

We were treated by G&G to a Caribbean meal at a local restaurant near them. It was a lovely lovely evening. The food was good and the company even better! Shan was so excited to see them and really really enjoyed herself. When I told her it was a Jamaican restaurant she said ‘my brain thinks it’s back in Jamaica’, which was only strengthened when she spotted the barbecue grilling the chicken. As we walked back to G&G’s Shan took grandpa’s hand and held it all the way back. She even used his torch to help him see where he was going so he wouldn’t trip. When they approached any steps or bumps she would give him a warning and say ‘and steeeepppp’. It was so sweet. We said goodbye and after about six hugs each we were ready to go home. As soon as we got in the car she fell asleep and that was that!
