Ali in Porty

I was walking along the promenade at Porty earlier listening to a podcast while Ruby and Joe were climbing. I returned this evening with Ruby to see Ali Smith talk about their new book which comes out tomorrow. Ali is my favourite writer and her big brother is an ex-colleague and good friend. He’s not well at the moment so couldn’t attend but I sent him a few photos. She was brilliant. Ruby and I had a great evening. Looking forward to starting the book.
