Leach pottery

My aunt works at the Leach Pottery in St Ives so today we went with her two grandchildren to do some pottery carving.  The bowls had been thrown the night before and were leather hard so ready for us to have a go at carving.  I did a pottery course a few years ago and reminded me how much I enjoyed it.  We had a look in the museum and the shop there, the pottery is beautiful (although looking round the shop full of expensive ceramic and 4 children was a little stressful!).  We then went back to my aunts house.  The 4 children played and had so much fun while we chatted.  We all had a lovely day.
