Halloween Eve
The bone chilling dampness and drizzle didn’t deter our desire for breakfast at the diner. Afterwards we visited Tractor Supply to stock up on sunflower seeds and suet, then on the way home got our groceries for the week • This afternoon I asked MrsP if she wanted to take a ride to Hallowell. Along the main street many of the businesses have scarecrows or Halloween displays on the sidewalk. Unfortunately some haven’t held up well in the recent wind and rain but this one in front of a florist shop is one of the best. Note the two skele-dogs, too :) • Before dinner we’re going to watch the 1978 film “Halloween”, the original and best, I think, starring Jamie Lee Curtis. I was 19 when it came out and I was SO scared watching it at the theater. In fact I didn’t care for it then, but over the years it’s become my favorite Halloween movie • What’s Yours? • BOO! Be sure to keep your doors locked tonight!!
