Add ons through the ages.

This lovely old building has been added to from medieval times until a couple of hundred years ago. Developers let it go to rack and ruin, but hard work has been done by local groups and Historic Houses to retain elements of this lovely building.

Yes. It’s higgledy piggledy and rather muddled, but it’s a valuable way of preserving our heritage…….

I love the grounds too. We saw herons, great egrets, and lots more. Extra - and bits and pieces for Halloween.
