The Last....

bump picture...taken at 39 weeks 5 days. 

I took this the day before he was born, knowing it might be the last picture. 

I was lucky, in that it was a very small and compact bump - yet I never thought it could hold a 7lb 12oz baby! Given that my chest hurt so much, I can only assume that his feets were right up under my ribs! Even my skin felt too tight for my body at times! 

All I could think about was how I was looking forward to meeting this tiny person, and also being able to breathe again and not feel sick... ;-)
