The brightly coloured boat’s deck was covered with creel marker buoys probably signalling the end of the season for catching lobsters.  A few metres away the owner of Bonnie Lass II was unloading his empty creels onto the quay as there is little likelihood of catching much now that the lobsters will be retreating to deeper water to hibernate for the winter.
