Mythical Creature

Photo group, then cleaning of three skylights.
I didn't get on the roof, but was quite involved in handing out cleaning materials and swapping out the water.

So the lichen has gone for a year or so. It's been a while happening as the roofing guy wouldn't get up on the roof unless it was bone dry.
The roof is very high and alive with lichen, so his job would be even more precarious if it was wet.

Checked up on the blip theme late in the day and discovered it was a street scene.
Because it was late it was very quiet, and with bright western sun when I spotted this wonderful poster, advertising the upcoming Rhodo Festival.
The theme is 'mythical creatures' and It's a bit 'Gauguin meets King Kong'.
It's in the window of the new shop I blipped recently.
