Alpine Glow

It was raining like crazy this morning. Torrential downpours made us anticipate a dreary day, which it was.
But late this afternoon the rain stopped, and the sky began to clear. After work, my husband and I got some takeout food for dinner and drove to our favorite spot on the lake to eat it.
The billowing clouds began to glow, as the sun came out before it was setting, hanging above the White Mountain range and Mt. Washington.
Absolutely beautiful!
