All bound up!

The last paddle practice this evening before the Big Day on Saturday! The Cape Breton Dragon Boat race starts early, 8am on the 27th....and we're in the first race! This means i'm up at stupid o'clock to drive an hour and get things prepared before the big event!!! We had a full boat.....20 paddlers......and boy did we move some water! There is a lot of strength in our Dragon Boat.....and i can feel my stamina increasing....which is a good thing! We got up there early cos there was going to be 4-5 boat loads, and they only had 3 boats to put in the water! Which meant we were done by 6.30pm just as the rain started!!!!

Did some chores and shopping - and had dinner at my favorite Chinese place....mmmmm good!

off to bed, tired and happy!
