Finally...

I found a spot with birds! (Looks pretty good large.)

I've been on the look out for a park with a few birds to blip, but have come up empty every time. Today, I happened upon several on a dirt road... well, really more of a two-track. As I drove down it exploring, I saw robins, woodpeckers and grosbeaks. Once I parked they were a little harder to come by, but oddly the red winged black birds hung around. (They are usually the first to panic and leave.) I'm thinking of heading back there when I have the time to hang out for a while, as I'm sure there would be more activity if I could lay low and wait. As it was, I was very happy to get a shot of this one... I only took 8 images today... Nearly a record low since I started blip.

Our weather has been so strange. Last week, through Friday, it was in the 90's(F) and humid. It's been so much cooler since the weekend, and today felt like fall. It didn't get above 62 (F) degrees and the wind blew like crazy. I needed a jacket! I'm not complaining though... I much prefer the cooler weather.
