red robin…

…red robin

come out

and play

that was a little - ditty we used to - chant as kiddos whenever - we saw robins in our backyard - i’m not sure where it originated - i had given up on - capturing a robin this season - but when i ventured down - to the gardens to scope - out any remaining flowers - i was all set to snap - when i caught a fluttering - from my right and turned - to see a robin there - i was so delighted

because rumor has it - that back in the day robins - were known to be - symbols of messages - the message that spring - had arrived or that your - life was beginning a new chapter - also they could bring messages - of hope and renewal - to find inspiration and creativity - all things which i find very uplifting - and encouraging to come - from a single sighting of a lone bird

robins have always held a special place - in my heart typically because - i look for them each - spring as that messenger - of goodwill and faith of a new - season beginning and the joy - which comes alongside it - and we all know as well - how that will inevitably lead to…

a

happy day…..
