Ruellia

My indoor plant Ruellia is in bloom again ( two flowers!).I'm sure it's mostly grown for its foliage but it is a bonus when it produces a flower. 
Cycled into town this morning for a few things and visited my Mother this afternoon.  My sister told me she had  made her a new dress and posted it to her. It arrived either this morning or yesterday but she denied having received a parcel. However, there in her wardrobe was her lovely new dress! I  sent it for labelling by the Home but when it's back I will make sure she tries it on. We did a couple of the crosswords in her Daily Telegraph crossword book which the home gave her on her birthday. She  still enjoys, and is very capable of, solving crossword clues. 
This evening we attended the online annual Wade lecture from Southampton University on " Neuroimaging and the Spectacular insights it can give into brain health and diseases " presented by Professor Joanna Wardlaw, a Radiologist. It did help to explain some of  my mother's cognitive difficulties!
