Year of the Berries

I went for a walk in my break, looking for something for the tiny category (sorry, freespiral, I hadn't clocked the theme for today). When I took the picture on a dull day with flat lighting, I was simply pleased to find a selection of berries close enough to fill the frame.

The whole story that sprang to mind at the time of clicking completely vanished when I came to upload  - it's my 365th consecutive blip and by utter coincidence it echoes my very first entry.

That's spooky!

Thanks for hosting, freespiral. You and other hosts have provided so much food for thought and been catalysts for creativity.

Aaah - the story!

I heard on the radio recently (BBC radio 4 More or Less) about the estimates of how many berries a grizzly bear eats. I wont spoil your listening by giving the number, but these berries wouldn't last a minute.

Fortunately grizzly bears are rare in Hampshire these days so I had plenty of time to steal the photo.
