Tasty Treat

A blitz of household tasks this morning allowed for a trip to the forest this afternoon. Lots of fungi on the forest floor. Hopes for a perfect specimen was undermined by whatever had enjoyed a feast . The extra shows the variety I encountered on the walk.

A strange encounter at the Drs with a gentleman who said I had speeded past him on the Parkrun on Saturday. I think this was an exaggeration! He had had a knee replacement 8 months ago and is just easing back into running. He seemed a bit surprised when I told him I’d had a replacement in June.
