An all too brief glimpse of the sun

Holly and I were just passing the small pond at the back of the walled garden in Pollok when the sun appeared, casting its light on this lovely red acer.

The only birds dropping in for a seed or two were a Robin and a Dunnock ..... where have all the tits gone?
