Sea wave

Our first full day. I had an impulse to start the day with a jog, which really wasn't a good idea as I hadn't bothered to warm my creaky legs first so had to stop halfway to recover. Afterwards we went to the lighthouse in Flamborough, then the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs, and finally a splash at the beach in Filey.

I really liked the RSPB reserve but the kids got bored quite quickly. Very good staff there, and one of them even made it as simple as possible for me to bag my first puffin photograph. Although even that wasn't enough to persuade the kids to stay on for a bit longer.

This is of our daughter thoroughly enjoying the water and beach at Filey. The water was warm enough even for me to wade in to take this shot.
