#2 daughter descending from the moor
We got cleared up after last night in time for #2 daughter and family to arrive. They’d very kindly brought soup for lunch so I just had to do a fruit salad.
Mr C and Phil chilled out while daughter and I had a sunny and warm walk up to the moor and down one of the steep rocky paths she likes. Only 3.5 miles but lots of steep bits. And we got a lot of catching up done!
She and Phil left for their night away at Ettrickbridge and Mr C took the boys into the woods to play before it gets dark which is about 4.45.
Now I must think of something to make for their tea. Eggy bread perhaps. James is a fussy eater. The good news is he read lots of his book in the car on the way here. And both boys have joined the chess club at school.
