Step three....

A varied day today.

I slept until 8.45am which is unheard of for me then I took some flowers to lay where my aunt died. I spent some time reading the cards and messages that people had left which was both heartbreaking and comforting. So many kind words: one simply read "...from someone you never knew but cares just the same" which I thought was just beautiful.

I took more flowers to my Gran's grave and spent a little time chatting to her whilst clearing a few weeds.

Needing a tonic to pick me up I phoned gorgeous daughter and we went carpet shopping then set about painting the spare bedroom in her house. I did the ceiling and the wallpapering a couple of weeks ago. Her partner arrived back from work so together we made light work of it. We also bought the curtains today - fushia pink! It's going to be a bright room!
