And I’m thankful

There are pro and cons to almost everything, including living in the same place most of your life. Small towns are great. Everybody knows everybody, their family, their business, their history. We buried another church member today. A hospice nurse I had worked with years ago. Our boys were the same ages. She had lost her eldest last year. Her youngest spent lots of time out at our house growing up. They said he gave a beautiful eulogy. I could not stay for it. I just couldn’t. So I went back to the kitchen to be useful. There was much joy and laughter as she was celebrated. She has always joyful bc she knew her final destination. Still…
