Movement
The last days at work before taking a holiday can often be filled with efforts to complete one task or another before switching on the 'out of office'. My day was not like that at all. I've been having—what I hope is—the right number of planning meetings with people during the week so that I don't cram it all into today.
.
Just before 6 p.m., I left the house to take a train and Jubilee Line journey to Bond Street, where I was going to have a mini pedicure. I always try to do this before I go on holiday so that my feet are OK when walking around barefoot. That's the nice part of the visit, but the underlying reason is to make sure my ingrowing toenail has not returned. So I get something nice while also getting something worthwhile done.
After half an hour, it's complete, and I feel refreshed, like I am walking on air. So, I took the opportunity to walk back to Waterloo across the bridge. I tried to get a picture of the London Eye (I must have hundreds of them, although I could only find three posted to Blipfoto, but I always think it looks great lit up). I don't know why the blur happened, but I liked it anyway.
