New Akropolis Museum

I wish I remembered what this piece was - but I don't....

I went to the museum twice, yesterday and today. It's a beautiful museum with stunning displays of Greek statues, friezes etc.

We were so lucky to be able to visit - it just opened less than a week ago!!!

Today is the big day - our dear friends are getting married!!! We've all been waiting for this :-)
The ceremony will be at 8 pm in Greek orthodox fashion, with a subsequent huge wedding reception to follow. Everyone is excited!!!!!!!
