Self-Portrait Tuesday: swimsuits...

Tomorrow I'm going to find myself in the North Atlantic, which even at this time of year could be a little bit chilly! So I'm going to be wearing a wetsuit, and under that wetsuit I'll need a swimsuit. I don't often need to wear swimwear, and when I do I'm more of a bikini girl. But I know from experience what happens when you try to take off a tight wetsuit while wearing bikini bottoms, and the holiday-makers on Portrush's East Strand really don't want to see that... (again).

Swimsuit shopping is the most soul-destroying of all the shoppings, so I really hoped to get it over and done with in one store. So today I went to M&S (trusty old M&S) thinking that surely, in July, in the middle of a heatwave, they'd have a swimsuit. I searched rail after rail and there was literally nothing in my size except for this horrible floral creation. I think the look on my face tells what I think of it.

I'll risk the bikini.
