A fungi kind of day

Most of the day has been spent in the house, painting the base coat on the plaster in the extension. Being the base coat the paint is thick and gooey, and so it's taken nearly all the day to do about half of one coat. However, it's not been particularly bright outside, so I'm not really feeling bad about the lack of outdoor fun. On a brief outing the wet fungi were strewn with tiny spiderwebs...
