WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS...
...find a pink flower in the garden!
I had a lovely morning meeting with a relatively new friend, but we managed to “talk the hind leg off a donkey” and I’m sure she won’t mind me saying that!
We got to Jack’s at about 10 o’clock and didn’t leave until 12.15, remembering that we had left our poor husbands “home alone”!
Whilst in Jack’s I showed Pilar the Blip I had done last week when she was wearing the “rhubarb” tee shirt and she was quite thrilled to see it and wanted to know where she could find it online so she could look at more of my Blips.
Once home, it was time to think about what I would use for today’s Blip, when Mr. HCB told me that there was a beautiful pink geranium in one of the pots, which he had grown from seed, and which might do. When I went out there, not only was there a pink geranium, but also a beautiful pinky-purple fuchsia right next to it. Serendipity I think and just right for today.
Mr. HCB said that when he had been in the garden, trying to sort out one of the beds so that he could put in our new Echinacea plants, it had rained very hard, so he hadn’t done as much work as he wanted to - but tomorrow is another day, as we always say. Sadly, I can’t help him tomorrow either, because I am out for coffee again with another friend in the morning, but he is quite happy working on his own.
Three more days of searching for pink and then I won’t be bothering you to keep CLICKING on this LINK, although you may like to do it still to help those who cannot afford to pay for a mammogram - and other care - when suffering from breast cancer, to have a free one. Thank you very much. M xx
