Tiny

We may have had an extra hour in bed last night, but we slept late all the same - after yesterday's walk, the remnants of Covid are obviously taking their toll. It was a pancake brunch rather than breakfast!

Spent a couple of hours in the garden in the afternoon. Planted some cyclamen tubers and some bulbs, and generally tidied up the paved area. MrM planted sunflowers in a container on the paved area; most have finished flowering already. These two late flowers, on the same stem, are tiny - the largest is the same size as a 10p piece.

Spent a considerable amount of time today cleaning the bottom three shelves in the kitchen, and everything on them. It seems that the mouse - with his friends and family - have made themselves at home and were exploring there. Been debating how to deter the mice until the mouse traps arrive (tomorrow, hopefully). Tonight, just before going to bed I shall put Olbas oil on the sides of the shelves - it's worth a try! We really need to establish where they're getting in to the house...
