oh I do love to be beside the seaside

Fantastic thunderstorms last night that all 4 children managed to sleep through somehow.
The cousins have had lots of fun together today. We spent the morning at Waves swimming pool, followed by fish and chips by the sea, a play on the beach and the afternoon back at the house. lots of playing for the children and time to sit in the sun and read my book.
Had a lovely walk along the beach this evening, the calm before the storm if the forecast is to be believed.
The sea is much calmer now than earlier, my blip tonight looks out towards St Mary's lighthouse.
