Had a good day today. Chores, cooking, exercise, haircut and prep for two gigs today. Pictures is the crowd at Binge during the closing set (you can see me in the back DJing). It was a lot of fun, great weather, drinks, food, vibes and music. I played a bunch of tracks ranging from house, trance, R’n’B, hip-hop, 80s and 90s. Eurythmics is always a winner with Dead Or Alive starting the train on the floor. Finished off with a remix of ABBA’s Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! Never fails.

The best part of the night was reuniting with a friend I haven’t seen in 10 years who used to work in Japan. We worked for the same company and DJ’ed a lot together. He was great and played the kind of house I like but with a more electronic edge to it. It was always good to listen. It’s surreal he and his lovely wife are here. I’m so happy for them. If I could get them dancing, I was happy.
