On Some Days

I'm In A Different World . . . Four Tops

Mono Monday . . . Memory

Pot number 2 in place.  My niece told me this is the biggest pot my brother in law made.  It was done on the wheel in three sections and joined together.  You can see the joins but I don't care.  Probably it didn't meet the standard for being sold.  His garden was full of reject pieces.  The pieces of his pottery I have keep my memories of him and my sister alive.
I have pulled weeds but there are a lot more to be done.  The forester has planted kumara, broccoli and tomatoe plants.  It has been great to see the sun again.
This song come on the radio and it prompted another memory.  I remembered how I loved the Four Tops when I was at teachers college.  My flat mate had an L.P by them and when no one was home I would turn it up loud and sing.  The blend of their voices and that base playing did it for me back then, still does.
