Our visitors had never been down to the river below the Montegu Bridge in Dalkeith.  The North Esk river was slowly flowing down with leaves and reflections of the trees before tumbling over the weir to continue its journey beneath the canopies of autumn trees before meeting the South Esk by the Old Oak Wood.  We walked through deep carpets of leaves in the woods before going to the Restoration Yard where A managed to find some presents for Christmas
